How we help with WIBA

We gather your staff schedule and payroll and place cover with a licensed insurer.
Keep it current
We help you update the insurer as staff join or leave.
Support claims
Document checklists and follow-up if an employee is injured.
Renew on time
Reminders before your policy runs out, so cover doesn’t lapse.
If an employee is injured

WIBA questions
What is WIBA?
WIBA is the Work Injury Benefits Act, Kenya’s law on compensation for employees injured at work or who contract occupational diseases. Section 7 requires employers to insure their liability under the Act.
Is WIBA the same as Group Personal Accident?
No. WIBA cover meets the employer’s liability under the Act. Group Personal Accident pays agreed accident benefits to employees and can be arranged alongside WIBA.
Does it cover casual or contract workers?
Tell us about everyone who works for you, including casual and contract staff, so we can check with the insurer that they are included correctly.
How do I add new employees?
Send us their details and we update the insurer’s schedule.
